 7/7/2025 Explore Tarragona & Ancient Roman Ruins

It's not every day that you can gaze from your balcony 

and not only enjoy the Mediterranean Sea, 

but also an amazing Roman Amphitheatre.

Divided by the wall, just a few feet from the Amphitheatre is the

Circus Maximus, buried under these churches and the houses.

We continued walking down the main street near our hotel, 

passing several interesting sculptures.

Clarisa's favorite was the Monument als castellers.

Tarragona is the "City of Human Towers," with 4 local groups

competing on selected Wednesdays at 8 PM in front of the

Tarragona Cathedral.
